Brighton's Vegan Festival is back

Great news for Brighton's thriving vegan community: VegfestUK is making a triumphant return to the city this autumn after a three-year hiatus. The festival will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Hilton Metropole, running from 11am to 6pm.

The event promises to be one of the UK's biggest vegan celebrations of the year, with 120 independent traders, 50 speakers and performers, a dedicated food village, and three talks areas spread across three halls and two floors. Every space is fully carpeted with comfortable seating areas for visitors to relax between browsing the stalls and enjoying entertainment.

A festival for everyone

VegfestUK welcomes all visitors, whether you're a committed vegan, vegan-curious, or simply looking for a fun day out filled with food, shopping and live entertainment. The festival spirit is one of inclusion and celebration of plant-based living.

The highlight for many will undoubtedly be the vegan food village, which will feature up to 15 street food caterers and artisan plant-based options of the highest quality. Festival organisers promise visitors will be "entertained, uplifted, inspired and extremely well fed."

Star-studded line-up

The festival has attracted an impressive array of speakers and performers. Actor and animal advocate Peter Egan will be among the guests, alongside entrepreneur and world record holder Heather Mills, vegan pastry chef Danielle Maupertuis, and Dr Andrew Knight.

For entertainment, comedians Dawn Chorus and Andrew O'Neill will take to the stage, along with singer Gemma Doyle and guitarists David Camilli and David Robinson.

A bit of history

VegfestUK Brighton has deep roots in the city. The festival originally started in Brighton in 2009 and ran for 11 consecutive years until the end of the last decade, when lockdowns interrupted its run. This return marks a significant moment for the local vegan community and the city's reputation as one of the UK's leading vegan capitals.

Tickets and sponsorship

Tickets are priced at £10 plus booking fee, and there's a special offer available: buy one get one free until the end of September. Tickets can be purchased at vegfest.co.uk/vegfestuk-brighton-26/ticket.

The event is sponsored by several vegan businesses, with Healthy HR as main sponsor. Founder Yasmin Neves expressed excitement about supporting the festival and connecting with the wider vegan business community.

Whether you're a long-time vegan or simply curious about plant-based living, VegfestUK Brighton promises a day of discovery, delicious food, and great entertainment.
