Sleeper announces Brighton Dome show on major UK tour with Turin Brakes
Britpop legends Sleeper will perform at Brighton Dome on April 1, 2027, as part of their biggest UK tour since reforming.
A triumphant return for Brighton's music fans
Britpop icons Sleeper are bringing exciting news to Brighton this autumn. The beloved band has announced they'll be performing at Brighton Dome on April 1, 2027, as part of their End of the World tour – their biggest UK tour since the group's reformation.
The tour will see Sleeper travel across the country throughout March and April next year, bringing their signature sound to audiences across the UK. Tickets go on general sale this Friday, October 16, at 10am and will be available through sleeper.band.
A stellar support act
Enhancing the experience for fans will be South London group Turin Brakes, who join as special guests for the entire tour. This pairing promises to deliver an unforgettable evening of live music for Brighton audiences.
Frontwoman Louise Wener has expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, saying she's looking forward to taking the new album out on the road. She noted that the new songs hold special meaning and believes they'll sound fantastic when performed live.
Wener also highlighted the band's excitement about touring alongside Turin Brakes, suggesting this will be a truly memorable experience for music lovers.
New music on the horizon
The tour comes hot on the heels of Sleeper's new single and album title track, End of the World, which marks a new chapter for the band and for Wener as a songwriter.
The band's sixth studio album, also titled End of the World, is set for release on February 12, 2027. This gives fans the chance to familiarize themselves with the new material before the tour arrives in Brighton.
The album was written and recorded across two cities – Paris and Manchester – bringing together influences and creative energy from both locations. The project was produced by Joe Cross, a producer with impressive credentials including work with The Courteeners, Hurts, and The Slow Readers Club.
What to expect
With a new album in hand and fresh creative energy flowing through the band, the upcoming tour promises to be a celebration of Sleeper's enduring appeal to fans old and new. Whether you've been following the Britpop legends since their formation or are discovering them for the first time, the Brighton Dome show on April 1, 2027, offers the perfect opportunity to experience live music at its finest.
